Timeless Gelatin Delight

A refreshing and nostalgic gelatin salad featuring a blend of fruity flavors and creamy textures, perfect for family gatherings and holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

6 oz package lime flavored gelatin

2 cups boiling water

1 cup cold water

8 oz can crushed pineapple, drained

1 cup miniature marshmallows

1 cup whipped topping

1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

1. Dissolve the lime gelatin in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.

2. Add cold water and mix well.

3. Chill in the refrigerator until it begins to thicken slightly, about 30 minutes.

4. Fold in the crushed pineapple, marshmallows, whipped topping, and pecans until evenly distributed.

5. Pour the mixture into a mold or serving dish and refrigerate until fully set, about 2 hours.

6. Once set, carefully unmold onto a serving platter and keep chilled until serving.

Storage

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Ensure it is well-covered to prevent drying out.

Reheating

This dish is best served cold and does not require reheating.
