Tender Slow-Cooked Ribs

Ingredients
3 lbs pork ribs
2 cups barbecue sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the ribs by removing the membrane from the back. Season with salt and pepper.
2. In a bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika to create the sauce.
3. Place the ribs in the crockpot, layering if necessary.
4. Pour the sauce over the ribs, ensuring they are fully covered.
5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the ribs are tender and fully cooked.
6. Carefully remove the ribs from the crockpot and place them on a baking sheet.
7. Preheat your broiler and brush additional barbecue sauce on the ribs.
8. Broil for 3-5 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized and slightly crispy.
9. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
Storage
Store leftover ribs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, preheat the oven to 300°F, place ribs on a baking sheet and cover with foil. Heat for 20-25 minutes until warmed through.
