Tender BBQ Pork Ribs

Ingredients

4 lbs pork ribs
1 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the ribs by removing the silver skin from the back.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs.
3. Place the ribs in a slow cooker, standing them up against the walls of the cooker.
4. Pour the apple cider vinegar into the slow cooker.
5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the ribs are tender.
6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
7. Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet.
8. Brush the ribs generously with BBQ sauce.
9. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the BBQ sauce is caramelized and sticky.
10. Serve warm with additional BBQ sauce if desired.

Storage

Store leftover ribs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

To reheat, place in a 350°F oven until warmed through, or microwave on medium power, covered, for 2-3 minutes.
