Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken thighs
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup lime juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 green onions, sliced
1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch and flour. Toss chicken pieces in the mixture, ensuring they are well-coated.
3. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 1 minute.
5. Add honey, soy sauce, lime juice, red pepper flakes, and water. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
6. Return the chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
8. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through, or microwave on medium power for 2-3 minutes.
