Sweet Pineapple Glazed Ham

Ingredients

1 fully-cooked bone-in ham (8-10 lbs)
1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices in juice
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Toothpicks for securing pineapple slices

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
2. Place the ham in a roasting pan, fat side up.
3. In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice from the can, brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and ground cloves. Heat until the sugar dissolves.
4. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern and brush half of the glaze over it.
5. Arrange the pineapple slices on the ham using toothpicks to secure them.
6. Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
7. Remove the foil, brush with remaining glaze, and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
8. Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before carving and serving.

Storage

Store leftover ham in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Reheating

Reheat slices of ham in a covered dish with a splash of water in the oven at 275°F until warm.
