Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
2 tbsp honey
2 tsp instant yeast
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups warm water (110°F)
2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

1. Combine the flour, oats, sunflower seeds, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
2. In a separate bowl, mix warm water, honey, and yeast; let stand for 5 minutes until bubbly.
3. Add the yeast mixture and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients; stir until a sticky dough forms.
4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
5. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
6. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
7. Transfer the loaf to a greased 9x5-inch bread pan and let it rise again for 30 minutes.
8. Preheat the oven to 375°F and bake the bread for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
9. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Storage

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.

Reheating

Reheat slices in a toaster or warm the whole loaf in the oven at 300°F for 10 minutes.
