Stuffed Jalapeño Poppers

Ingredients

12 large jalapeño peppers
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
12 slices bacon
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if necessary.
6. Place the jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbly.
7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Storage

Store leftover poppers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
