Spicy Pineapple Jalapeno Burgers

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup jalapenos, diced
4 slices pineapple, grilled
4 hamburger buns
4 slices pepper jack cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp lime juice
1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, and diced jalapenos. Form into 4 patties.
3. Grill the patties for 4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
4. Top each patty with a slice of pepper jack cheese and let it melt.
5. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and lime juice.
6. Grill pineapple slices for 2 minutes per side.
7. Toast hamburger buns on the grill for 1 minute.
8. Assemble the burgers by spreading lime mayonnaise on each bun, then adding the patty, grilled pineapple, red onion, and cilantro.
Storage
Store leftover patties and toppings separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat patties on a grill or in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through. Reassemble the burger before serving.
