Spicy Jalapeño Bacon Stromboli

Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough
8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
4 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 jalapeños, sliced
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 egg, beaten

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, approximately 12x15 inches.
3. Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border on all sides.
4. Sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the sauce.
5. Add the cooked bacon and sliced jalapeños on top of the cheese.
6. Sprinkle garlic powder and onion powder over the toppings.
7. Carefully roll up the dough, starting with one of the long edges, to form a log.
8. Pinch the seams and ends to seal the stromboli.
9. Place the stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
10. Brush the beaten egg over the top of the stromboli for a golden crust.
11. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
12. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
