Ingredients

2 lbs chicken drumsticks
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 large eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp sriracha sauce
Oil for frying

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
2. In another bowl, whisk eggs and buttermilk together.
3. Dip each drumstick in the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and back into the flour mixture. Set aside.
4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
5. Fry chicken in batches for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
6. In a small saucepan, combine honey, garlic, soy sauce, and sriracha. Heat over medium until just boiling, then remove from heat.
7. Toss fried chicken with the honey garlic sauce and serve immediately.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
