Ingredients

4 chicken thighs
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Add the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
5. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
6. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
7. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
8. Return the chicken to the skillet, skin-side up, and spoon the sauce over each thigh.
9. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake until chicken is cooked through, about 25 minutes.
10. Mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry, then add to the skillet and stir until sauce thickens.
11. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
