Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 tablespoons water

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, cayenne pepper, and rosemary.
3. Add the cubed butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
