Ingredients
1/2 cup popcorn kernels
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat, adding three popcorn kernels and covering the pot.
2. Once these kernels pop, add the remaining popcorn kernels and sugar, stirring quickly to coat.
3. Cover the pot, leaving a small gap for steam to escape, and shake occasionally to prevent burning.
4. Once popping slows, remove the pot from heat and immediately sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir or shake to evenly distribute the spices.
5. Let the kettle corn cool for a few minutes before serving.
Storage
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Reheating
