Spaghetti and Meatballs

A family favorite that brings the classic flavors of Italy to your table with ease. This one-pot Instant Pot spaghetti and meatballs recipe delivers perfectly cooked pasta and juicy meatballs coated in a rich tomato sauce, all in a fraction of the time.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
24 oz marinara sauce
3 cups water
12 oz spaghetti
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
2. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and add olive oil. Brown meatballs on all sides, then remove.
3. Add onion to the pot and sauté until translucent.
4. Turn off sauté mode, then pour in marinara sauce and water. Stir to combine.
5. Break spaghetti in half and layer over the sauce. Do not stir.
6. Place meatballs on top of the spaghetti.
7. Seal the lid and set Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 8 minutes.
8. Once done, perform a quick release. Stir in fresh basil before serving.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop until heated through.
