Southern Mint Julep

Ingredients

8 fresh mint leaves
2 teaspoons of granulated sugar
2 1/2 ounces bourbon
Crushed ice
Fresh mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

1. Place mint leaves and sugar in a glass.
2. Muddle the mint and sugar gently to release the mint oils.
3. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
4. Pour bourbon over the ice and stir well until the glass is frosty.
5. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Storage
