Ingredients

4 lbs pork ribs
1 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup bourbon
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
2. In a bowl, mix together maple syrup, bourbon, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
3. Rub the marinade all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.
4. Place the ribs on the prepared baking sheet, cover with foil, and bake for 2 hours, or until tender.
5. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard, and simmer for 5 minutes to create the glaze.
6. Remove the ribs from the oven, uncover, and brush generously with the glaze.
7. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake for an additional 20 minutes, allowing the glaze to caramelize.
8. Let the ribs rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Storage

Store leftover ribs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

To reheat, place ribs in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
