Smoky Barbecue Pork Ribs

Tender and flavorful pork ribs slow-cooked to perfection with a smoky barbecue glaze, perfect for a weekend cookout.

Ingredients

2 racks of pork ribs (about 4 lbs total)
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 cup honey

Instructions

1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
2. In a bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the pork ribs.
4. Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and place on the grill.
5. Close the grill lid and cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, maintaining a grill temperature around 300°F.
6. In a saucepan, combine the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and honey. Simmer until slightly thickened.
7. Unwrap the ribs and brush them generously with the barbecue sauce mixture.
8. Place the ribs back on the grill and cook for another 15-20 minutes, until caramelized and tender.
9. Remove from grill and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Storage

Store leftover ribs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 300°F, covered with foil, for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
