Ingredients
3 lbs country-style pork ribs
1 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 cup water
Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the ribs by seasoning them with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
2. In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and water.
3. Place the seasoned ribs in the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over them ensuring they are well coated.
4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or until ribs are tender and easily pull apart with a fork.
5. For a caramelized finish, optionally transfer ribs to a baking sheet and broil in the oven for 5 minutes before serving.
