Slow Cooker Ribs

Achieve fall-off-the-bone ribs with this easy slow cooker recipe. Rubbed with spices and slow-cooked in your favorite barbecue sauce, these ribs are perfect for a casual dinner or a backyard barbecue.

Ingredients

3 lbs pork baby back ribs
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 cups barbecue sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the ribs by removing the membrane from the back.
2. Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the ribs.
4. Place ribs in a slow cooker, meat side out.
5. In a separate bowl, combine barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
6. Pour the sauce over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.
7. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until ribs are tender.
8. Optionally, finish ribs under a broiler for 3-4 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

Storage

Store leftover ribs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat ribs in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for about 15 minutes or until heated through.
