Slow-Cooked Pulled Pork

Ingredients
4 lbs pork shoulder
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup chicken broth
2 cups BBQ sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat your slow cooker to low setting.
2. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
3. Rub the pork shoulder evenly with olive oil, then coat with the spice mixture.
4. Place the pork shoulder into the slow cooker.
5. Pour the apple cider vinegar and chicken broth around the pork.
6. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
7. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
8. Mix the shredded pork with BBQ sauce and serve.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a skillet over medium heat or in the microwave until warm.
