Shrimp and Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

These bite-sized mushrooms are filled with a rich and savory shrimp and crab stuffing, perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any holiday gathering.

Ingredients

24 large white mushrooms
4 oz cooked shrimp, chopped
4 oz crab meat, drained
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Clean mushrooms and remove stems, setting caps aside.
3. Finely chop mushroom stems.
4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
5. Add chopped mushroom stems and garlic, sauté until soft.
6. In a bowl, mix shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, sautéed mushroom stems, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
7. Fill each mushroom cap generously with the mixture.
8. Place stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Reheating

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the mushrooms for 10-12 minutes until heated through.
