Savory Slow Cooker Cabbage Delight

Ingredients
1 medium green cabbage, chopped
1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups beef broth
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage slices until browned.
2. Transfer the browned sausage to a slow cooker.
3. In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
4. Add sautéed onions and garlic to the slow cooker.
5. Add chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, beef broth, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
6. Stir everything well to combine.
7. Set the slow cooker to Low and cook for 6-8 hours, or until the cabbage is tender.
8. Serve hot and enjoy.
Storage
Allow the stew to cool completely before storing in an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
Reheating
Reheat gently on the stovetop over medium heat until heated through or in a microwave-safe dish in the microwave.
