Savory Slow-Cooked Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

6 bone-in chicken thighs
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, sliced
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Sear chicken thighs on both sides until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
4. Transfer chicken to the slow cooker.
5. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
6. Add chicken broth, thyme, rosemary, paprika, and lemon juice to the skillet, bring to a simmer.
7. Pour the mixture over the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
8. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Storage
