Savory Pita Chips with Herb Dip

Ingredients

6 pita bread rounds
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cut each pita bread round into 8 triangles and place them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
4. Brush the pita triangles with the seasoned olive oil mixture evenly on both sides.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through.
6. While the pita chips are baking, prepare the dip by combining Greek yogurt, lemon juice, dill, minced garlic, and salt in a bowl. Mix well.
7. Serve the pita chips warm with the prepared herb dip.

Storage

Store pita chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Store the dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Reheating

Reheat pita chips in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes to restore crispiness. Stir the dip before serving.
