Ingredients
1 lb lump crab meat
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 large egg
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, gently combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, parsley, dill, chives, salt, and pepper.
2. Form the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
3. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
4. Fry the crab cakes in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
5. Serve warm with lemon wedges and preferred sauce.
Storage
Store leftover crab cakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10 minutes or until heated through.
