Ingredients
1 head green cabbage
1 lb ground turkey
4 slices bacon, chopped
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add bacon and cook until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
4. Add ground turkey to the skillet; cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and thyme.
5. Stir in chopped cabbage and cook until slightly wilted.
6. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, chicken broth, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
7. Pour the cheese mixture over the cabbage and turkey; stir to combine.
8. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
9. Top with crispy bacon bits.
10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
11. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a preheated oven at 300°F for 15 minutes or until heated through.
