Savory Beef Mushroom Stroganoff

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
1 cup sour cream
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
12 oz egg noodles
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
2. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking apart with a spoon.
3. Stir in the mushrooms and continue to cook until they are softened.
4. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir well to combine.
5. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
6. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Reduce heat to low and mix in the sour cream until well incorporated.
8. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions and drain.
9. Serve the stroganoff over the noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through. Add a splash of beef broth if the sauce is too thick.
