Savory Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups frozen hash browns

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble once cooled.
3. In the same skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
4. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the beef. Sauté until the vegetables are soft.
5. Stir in the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
6. In a large bowl, combine the beef mixture, crumbled bacon, half of the cheddar cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and chopped pickles.
7. In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the frozen hash browns evenly.
8. Pour the beef mixture over the hash browns and spread evenly.
9. Top with the remaining cheese.
10. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
11. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat individual servings in the microwave for 2-3 minutes or until heated through.
