Ingredients
2 lbs ground venison
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup finely chopped onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup button mushrooms, sliced
2 cans (28 oz each) crushed tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup red wine
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb spaghetti
Instructions
1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
2. Add ground venison to the skillet, cooking until browned.
3. Stir in mushrooms and cook until soft.
4. Pour in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and red wine; stir to combine.
5. Add thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
6. Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
8. Serve sauce over spaghetti and top with Parmesan cheese.
