Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp instant yeast
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and honey, allowing it to sit for 5 minutes.
3. Gradually combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
5. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
6. Preheat your oven to 450°F and place a Dutch oven inside to heat.
7. Shape the risen dough into a round loaf and carefully place it in the preheated Dutch oven.
8. Bake for 30 minutes covered, then remove the lid and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
9. Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Storage

Store in a bread bag or wrapped in a cloth at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Preheat oven to 350°F, wrap the bread in aluminum foil, and heat for 10 minutes.
