Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 cup chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
3. Add ground beef to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Cook until browned.
4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream. Mix until well combined.
5. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
7. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
9. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

To reheat, place a portion in a microwave-safe dish and heat on high for 1-2 minutes or until heated through. Alternatively, reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
