Radish and Herb Butter Tartines

Crunchy radishes and an array of fresh herbs are layered on top of creamy buttered bread, creating an elegant and tasty open-faced sandwich. Perfect for a light lunch or appetizer.

Ingredients

1 Baguette or rustic bread loaf
4 tbsp Unsalted butter, softened
8 Radishes, thinly sliced
1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup Fresh chives, chopped
1/4 cup Fresh dill, chopped
1/2 tsp Sea salt
1/4 tsp Black pepper
1 Lemon, zested

Instructions

1. Slice the baguette or rustic bread into 1/2 inch thick slices.
2. Spread softened butter generously over each slice of bread.
3. Layer the thinly sliced radishes evenly over the buttered bread.
4. Sprinkle chopped parsley, chives, and dill over the radishes.
5. Season each tartine with sea salt and black pepper to taste.
6. Finish by adding a sprinkle of lemon zest on top for a fresh citrus note.
7. Serve immediately at room temperature.

Storage

Store any leftover ingredients separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reassemble fresh tartines when ready to eat.

Reheating

These tartines are best enjoyed fresh and do not require reheating.
