Pecan Pie

Ingredients

1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup light corn syrup
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
3. Stir in the pecan halves, ensuring they are evenly coated.
4. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
5. Place the pie on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until the center is set and the pie is golden brown.
6. Allow to cool before serving.

Storage

Store the pecan pie covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Reheating

Reheat slices in the microwave for 20-30 seconds or in a preheated oven at 300°F for 10 minutes.
