Peach Iced Tea

Homemade peach iced tea made from sun-ripened peaches and fine black tea, offering a refreshing and sweet escape perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

4 ripe peaches
8 cups water
4 black tea bags
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 lemon, sliced
Ice cubes

Instructions

1. Wash and slice the peaches, removing the pits.
2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil, then remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes.
3. Remove tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
4. Add the sliced peaches to the warm tea and let it sit for 30 minutes to infuse the flavors.
5. Strain the tea to remove peach slices, pressing down to extract all juices.
6. Transfer the tea to a pitcher and refrigerate until cold.
7. Serve over ice with lemon slices for garnish.

Storage

Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Not recommended to reheat. Enjoy chilled.
