Prep time: 15 minutesCook time: 10 minutesServes: 4
Ingredients
1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
3 cups broccoli florets
2 tbsp coconut oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, grated
1/4 cup coconut aminos
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp black pepper
Sea salt to taste
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix together coconut aminos, fish sauce, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Set aside.
2. Heat 1 tbsp of coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the flank steak strips and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of coconut oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
4. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
5. Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the prepared sauce. Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken slightly.
6. Taste and adjust seasoning with sea salt if necessary.
7. Serve hot, garnished with additional red pepper flakes if desired.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
