Outback Oasis Chicken is a mouthwatering and hearty dish featuring seasoned chicken breasts topped with a unique mustard-infused mushroom and bacon sauce, paired with a layer of melted cheese, creating a delectable fusion of flavors.

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 slices bacon
1 cup white mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Season chicken breasts with the mixture.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking dish.
4. In the same skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and crumble.
5. In the skillet, add mushrooms and cook in bacon fat until tender. Stir in Dijon mustard, honey, and mayonnaise, and cook until well combined.
6. Spoon mushroom mixture over chicken breasts in the baking dish. Top with crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
7. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Storage

Store leftover chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until heated through.
