Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup red and green candied cherries, chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
6. Gently fold in the walnuts, raisins, and candied cherries.
7. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Storage
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
Reheating
To reheat, place cookies in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for about 5 minutes or until warm.
