Nutty Maple Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup raisins
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract.
4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir into the creamed mixture.
5. Mix in the oats, walnuts, and raisins until evenly distributed.
6. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets.
7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
8. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Storage
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a preheated oven at 300°F for 5 minutes or microwave for 10-15 seconds.
