Mediterranean Margherita Pizza

Ingredients

Pizza dough (12-inch)
1 tbsp olive oil
4 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
2 oz feta cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven to heat.
2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to a 12-inch circle.
3. Brush the rolled-out dough with olive oil, coating the edges as well.
4. Evenly distribute the fresh mozzarella slices over the dough.
5. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese across the pizza.
6. Disperse sundried tomatoes evenly across the top.
7. Sprinkle the red pepper flakes, dried oregano, and sea salt over the pizza.
8. Carefully transfer the pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet.
9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
10. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.

Storage

Store leftover pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes or until warmed through.
