Meatloaf

A tender and juicy meatloaf with a savory blend of spices and a caramelized glaze that makes it a family favorite comfort food.

Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
3. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
4. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard.
5. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-75 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
7. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Storage

Store leftover meatloaf in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat individual slices of meatloaf in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, or until heated through. Alternatively, reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes.
