Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
3/4 cup warm milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chopped pecans for topping

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
2. In another bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Add to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, then let it rise for 1 hour.
4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
5. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans.
6. Roll the dough into a log and cut into 12 slices.
7. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
8. Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
9. Mix maple syrup, powdered sugar, and heavy cream to make the glaze.
10. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and sprinkle with additional chopped pecans.

Storage

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Reheating

To reheat, warm in a preheated oven at 300°F for 5-7 minutes or microwave for 15-20 seconds.
