Ingredients

1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 green onions, chopped
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic.
2. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken thighs and cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
3. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the chicken. Cover and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
4. In a small bowl, mix water and cornstarch. Add to the pan and stir until sauce thickens.
5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes until warmed through or in a skillet over medium heat until hot.
