Maple Bourbon Pound Cake

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup bourbon
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then mix in vanilla extract.
4. Stir in the bourbon and maple syrup until well combined.
5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
6. Alternate adding the dry ingredients and buttermilk to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
10. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Storage
Store the cake in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
Reheating
To reheat, place slices in a microwave for 15-20 seconds or warm in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for 5-10 minutes.
