Ingredients
6 large apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons bourbon
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the apple slices, granulated sugar, maple syrup, bourbon, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss to coat the apples evenly.
3. Transfer the apple mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
4. In another bowl, mix the flour, oats, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until crumbly.
5. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the apples are tender.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
