Ingredients

12 fresh jalapeños
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 tbsp maple syrup
12 slices thin-cut bacon
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, maple syrup, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until well combined.
4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
