Loaded Potato Puffs

A crowd-pleasing appetizer of crispy potato puffs topped with savory bacon, cheese, and scallions.

Ingredients

2 lbs frozen tater tots
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup chopped scallions
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet.
2. Bake tater tots for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
3. Meanwhile, cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
4. Once tater tots are cooked, sprinkle cheese evenly over them and return to the oven for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
5. Remove from oven and top with crumbled bacon, dollops of sour cream, and sprinkle with chopped scallions.
6. Season with black pepper and garlic powder. Serve immediately.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
