Loaded Nachos Supreme are the perfect comfort food for any occasion, featuring a mountain of crispy tortilla chips layered with seasoned ground beef, gooey melted cheese, and a variety of fresh, flavorful toppings. Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1/4 cup water
1 bag (12 oz) tortilla chips
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 cup sour cream
1 avocado, diced
1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil.
2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned; drain excess fat.
3. Add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water to the beef; simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Arrange half of the tortilla chips on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and seasoned beef over the chips.
6. Layer the remaining chips, cheese, and beef.
7. Add black beans, diced tomatoes, black olives, jalapeños, and green onions on top.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
9. Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
10. Serve immediately, topped with sour cream, diced avocado, and lime wedges on the side.
Storage
Store leftover nachos in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Keep toppings separate if possible.
Reheating
To reheat, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), place nachos on a baking sheet, and heat for 5-10 minutes until warmed through. Avoid microwaving as it can make them soggy.
