Lemon Lavender Bliss Bars

Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
1 teaspoon dried culinary lavender
Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
2. In a bowl, mix 1 cup flour and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Cut in 1/2 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into the prepared dish.
3. Bake crust for 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and set aside.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, and baking powder until smooth.
5. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and dried lavender into the egg mixture.
6. Pour filling over the baked crust and return to the oven.
7. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the top is set and edges are slightly golden.
8. Allow to cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar and slicing into bars.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Reheating
Reheat by allowing the bars to reach room temperature, or enjoy them chilled.
