Lemon Herb Butter

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
2. Add the chopped parsley, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined and smooth.
4. Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper and roll it into a log shape.
5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Storage

Store the Lemon Herb Butter in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Reheating

Remove from refrigerator and allow to soften at room temperature for 15 minutes before use.
