Ingredients

1 loaf of Cuban bread
4 oz roasted pork
4 oz smoked ham
4 oz Swiss cheese
2 oz mango habanero sauce
4 dill pickles, sliced
2 oz plantain chips, crushed
2 tbsp butter, softened
1 tbsp yellow mustard

Instructions

1. Preheat a griddle or sandwich press to medium heat.
2. Slice the Cuban bread lengthwise and spread butter on the outside of both halves.
3. Layer the bottom half with roasted pork, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, and sliced pickles.
4. Drizzle mango habanero sauce over the ingredients evenly.
5. Sprinkle crushed plantain chips over the sauce for an extra crunch.
6. Spread yellow mustard on the inside of the top half of the Cuban bread and place it on top to form a sandwich.
7. Press the sandwich on the griddle or sandwich press for 5-7 minutes until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.
8. Remove, slice in half, and serve warm.

Storage

Store the sandwich in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Reheating

Reheat the sandwich in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes until warm.
